Wherwell High Street

Wherwell High Street runs straight through the village and mostly paralell with the dismantled railway. The high street boasts some of the most prominent buildings in the village including The Old Smithy, William Stewart Hair Design, the White Lion, Andover Lodge and Toll Cottage.

 

As time moved on this is were the population spread from church street with many shops such as the Blacksmiths and the Bakery were once located.
