The Wherwell Primary School

Wherwell Primary School was opened in 1929 and is a co-educational, non-denominational school catering for children from four to eleven years of age.  Situated on an attractive spacious site with a large playing field and play area,  it benefits from a nature area with a pond and picnic tables for class and playtime use.  The children also enjoy an adventure playground.  There are separate toilet facilities for infants and juniors.

All children are encouraged to use a well-stocked school library with a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books.  Many books in the library are specifically chosen to support course work.

In support of information technology all classrooms have at least two computers as well as areas for creative work.
