Heritage 100

 

Heritage100 is a dynamic site packed full of interesting and quirky items gathered together from museums and archives across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

 

 

The site is a 'taster' which links the visitor to the rich history put on display by the Hampshire Museum Service and museums in the Hampshire Solent Alliance.

 

 

The site showcases a handpicked selection of interesting and quirky objects online, to give visitors the opportunity to access 3D images, learn about their history and where they came from.

The website went live in late 2011. It has been built as part of a cultural out-reach programme on behalf of Hampshire County Council and the Renaissance Hampshire-Solent Alliance of Museums and Archives. The project is being funded by the National Museums, Libraries and Archives Council.
