Mottisfont Abbey

Mottisfont Abbey

Mottisfont Abbey is an historic site near Romsey, Hampshire, England. The site in the Test Valley is thought to originate from Saxon times where meetings were held. In 1201, William Briwere founded a priory on the site, which was later converted in to a house by William Lord Sandys.

This is a site that is continually evolving, with new content being added all the time. Signup to our mailing list and we would be more than happy to Email you when new information that has been added to the site.

We will also be more than happy to add new content if you choose to submit it. However, to make sure that the Website is helpful to our community, and remains relevant we have a public brief to help guide us   our self imposed brief.
